About the hub

Seven tools, done properly.

Career Specialist Hub is a set of free browser tools for students and professionals — not a job board, not a course, not a newsletter funnel.

Why this exists

Most career sites either bury one useful feature under a job board, or ask for an account, a credit card, or an email address before they'll let you use anything. We built the opposite: seven focused tools that work the moment you land on the page, run entirely in your browser, and don't ask you for anything you don't want to give.

Each tool covers a moment in a career that's usually handled badly or not at all — explaining a gap, comparing two offers properly, making the case for a promotion, working out what a career change actually looks like on paper. None of it needs a login.

How the tools work

Everything on this site runs client-side in JavaScript — there's no server processing your details or storing what you type. The CV Maker and Reference Sheet Builder generate a document you can print or save as a PDF straight from your browser. The Job Offer Comparison and Freelance Rate Calculator run transparent formulas you can check by hand. The Career Gap Explainer and Promotion Case Builder turn what you type into structured drafts. The Transferable Skills Mapper reuses the same keyword-overlap approach an ATS checker uses, pointed at a career change instead. None of it is AI-generated, and none of it claims to replace a real recruiter, coach, or accountant — see each tool's inline note for exactly what it can and can't tell you.

What we believe

01

No account required

Every tool works immediately. If you ever have to sign up to use one, that's a bug.

02

Nothing is stored

What you type, and any photo you upload, stays in your browser tab and disappears when you close it.

03

Drafts, not verdicts

A score, a rate, or a document generated here is a starting point for your own judgment, not a final answer.

Who runs it

Career Specialist Hub is maintained as an independent, ad-supported resource. If something on the site is broken, unclear, or wrong, the contact page reaches a real person.
